Simple instructions to follow when stuck in the process

Last week I stumbled across Elon’s algorithm for improving anything, and it’s pure gold for anyone who’s ever tried to build something.
It’s a no-nonsense, five-step process that cuts through the noise.
Let’s break it down and see how it can level up literally anything:
1) Question the requirements
Start by doubting everything you’re told to do. Half the time, the “must-haves” are just bloated nonsense.
Ask: Does this actually matter? If not, ditch it. Focus on what moves the needle.
2) Delete dumb requirements
This is where you get ruthless. If a requirement doesn’t make sense or screams overcomplication, kill it.
Follow: Less is more. Stop overthinking.
3) Optimize
Now streamline what’s left. Make it lean and mean.
Look for: Bottlenecks, simplify processes, and make it work better without adding fluff.
4) Accelerate timelines
Speed matters. Don’t sit on your hands waiting for perfection, it’ll never come. Ship in two weeks instead of two months.
Do: Move quick, learn quicker.
5) Automate
Finally, make it run itself. Automation is the endgame.
Observe: Find the manual stuff, automate it, and free yourself to focus on the next big thing.

Elon’s algorithm is a reality check, stop chasing perfection, start iterating. Build, launch, learn, improve, repeat.
Like so often, this is no magic. It’s just essential and ordinary stuff. Don’t believe Elon tries to be smarter than others.
