Time: 2.10 Minutes
Today a quick and dirty one. But maybe the most important in months here…
Your business failing doesn't mean YOU failed.
Your idea getting rejected doesn't make YOU worthless.
This confusion destroys European entrepreneurs daily. Therefore you should separate yourself from your work... (at least sometimes)
That doesn’t mean to not work your ass off on good ideas. You should give everything to build something meaningful.
But when customers say no, investors pass, or competitors copy you, don't take it personally.
The market doesn't hate you.
It's just doing what markets do:
Choosing what works best right now.
Detachment makes you dangerous. You pivot faster. You kill bad features quicker. You listen to feedback without ego defense.
Your identity isn't your startup. Your worth isn't your revenue. Your ideas aren't your children.
They're experiments. Some work, some don't.
The best builders treat business like scientists treat hypotheses, test everything, attach to nothing.
So keep building, stay detached, and stay curious.
Your favourite Domi.
