Last week I got a support survey from Fiido, the Chinese company I bought my e-bike from, and it quietly nailed something most companies get painfully wrong.
After I talked to their support, I got on email how it was. Nothing special, but the copy and form striked at me…
The email asked just one question…
”How was our support?”, with five buttons, 1 to 5.
No login. No form. No “just a few more questions.”
I tapped a number and a page popped up:

Five stars, “Thanks!” Done in a second.
That’s the whole lesson.
Zero friction.
Every extra field, every login wall, every unnecessary line of copy quietly kills your response rate.
People will happily give you feedback, but only when it costs them nothing.
Just the copy you need, nothing more. One question. One tap. Instant result.
Want data from people? Stop asking for effort.
Ask for a tap.
So delete friction where you can and stay curious.
