#1 Why complex ≠ smart, escape the midwit trap
We are living in the age of meme culture. But meme’s are not only made for nonsense jokes, the a great vehicle to deliver real value fast. (and maybe the only why how to manage and lead Gen Z)
The following is a good one. An explanation of why complex is mostly not better.
Or like Shaan Puri said in his last podcast: “There is no premium in business for making a more complex idea work.” Business and customers don’t care, if you solve a problem where they care about they pay for it.
Still to many people think a complex problem needs a complex solution. Or in general that Complex != Smart. I think the opposite is true. The best of the best make complex things simple.
Listen to Naval’s interviews. His thinking sounds not complex. It sounds simple. (and nobody would ever doubt that he’s a very smart human)
So escape the midwit trap and turn to simple is good…
In addition, explaining your decision by using midwit meme’s could be my new way of making progress in communicating with others. I definitely will try this out.

I never saw it this way. But’s maybe true. Most stuff you start talking about or recognise later on is seen elsewhere more than once.
Creator and writer Nicolas Cole who runs a 10 million $ writing academy mentioned that on average he sends out 21 emails until someone subscribes to the paid product. Evidence that you need a lot of reaps until your funnel is actually working.
So you can spike your conversion rate with a great ad for short, but you need to deliver with a long term strategy to produce lasting marketing success.
